P0139 on 2020 HONDA Accord

“is it safe to ignore this P0139 code? I’ve been driving with a P0139 for over 2 weeks now i’m wondering if i wait until the summer to diagnose it myself (i replaced both O2 sensors last year with denso ),will this break my engine or ruin my cat? thank you”

“pretty sure if you go + or - >25% there's problems but your 8.6 - 10% STFT with the 0 and .8 LTFT look acceptable for open loop idling. Since it's 0% STFT closed loop (last screen) I'd say it's fine.”

“Sensor 2 should match somewhat closely to sensor 1 over time. If it doesn't, an exhaust leak prior to sensor 2 could cause it to read sloooowly which P0139 is: slow response Think I read those screens correctly.”

“The code P0139 is a slow response on the secondary O2 sensor, a lot of times the heater is not working properly. It is not getting heated up enough to give a good signal.”
